Cream on Cream in my pants

The state of Wisconsin has been blessed this week with brand new jersey drops from our friends in the dirty Mil, and we got creamed. We'll start with the Bucks who just today introduced a cream jersey into the lineup after taking last year off.
The Bucks came with cream and they came hard. These new alternate jerseys are ridiculously clean and definitely upgraded from the last cream jersey the Bucks rocked. The cream color "serves as a nod to the to the bricks that built the foundation of Milwaukee and gave it the nickname 'Cream City'". The jersey is accented with the signature bucks green as well as the blue we've seen in some logos as well as on the alternate court in some years. I love almost everything about this jersey. There is something so classic about the cream and it just works. The blue and green pop off of the cream and the three together work perfectly. One downside for me is the 'M' logo along the side of the shorts. I don't hate it, but I think the Bucks could've gone without it.
The Bucks wear these bad boys 20 times throughout this season, and I'm sure we'll see these come playoff time as well. Can't wait.
Overall: A

Now onto the other Milwaukee team, the Christian Yelich's. The Brewers unveiled 4 new jerseys which will replace everything except for probably the Sunday home classics. We'll start with my least favorite, a controversial one.

Theres something about these away Blues that I just don't like. And I've heard mostly positive reviews about these things. Fuck, the @Brewers twitter poll suggests that the blues are the favorite out of the bunch, but I just don't see it. Maybe it's the blue top with the grey pants, or maybe it's the alternate hat to be worn with it. It all seems a little spring training-ish, and therefore, I have them at the bottom. They're still clean and definitely progress from whatever the hell we've been wearing the past couple years, but they're nothing special.

Next is onto the home white pinstripes.
Once again, another upgrade here. The white pinstripes play on every team. They're a timeless classic that really can't be beat. The Yankees look good in them, the Cubs (puke) somehow manage to look good in them, it's just a given. And the Brewers stay par for the course. Super clean, super simple, and there's nothing to really complain about. The baseball decal on the side with the laces of the ball comprised of wheat, is a super small but awesome touch once again referencing Milwaukee's heritage. The only problem I might have with these jerseys is if they replace the Sunday homes. The classic royal blue and yellow shouldn't be messed with. Ever. As long as that doesn't happen, we're good.

Coming at second out of four is the road greys.
Another really simple, really clean jersey. It helps the fact that grey is probably my favorite color, but nonetheless, the Brewers executed perfectly. There isn't much to say with these; the blue lettering with the yellow outline looks great, and they both play well on the light grey that Milwaukee has used for forever. I love the use of 'Milwaukee' across the front instead of 'Brewers' which switches it up a little. And the Wisconsin state decal looks great along the sleeve along with the banding at the bottom.

Lastly, at no. 1, is the home cream.
It's nice to see the other Milwaukee team embracing the cream as well and it gives a sense of unity between the two teams. As I said about the Bucks, the cream is just so classic. It beats out white by a billion in my mind. I think both teams should just abandon white and replace it with cream. Ryan Braun rocks this more than anybody ever will (Besides Yeli and maybe LoCain). This post is about cream, and it's for a reason. It can't be beat.
Overall: A+
As a whole collection, the Brewers upgraded big time. No more awkward curly 'M' logo. No more brown-ish gold accent color. No more ugly away greys. They've cleaned up the look and transformed it into something new while still representing the old.
Milwaukee brought the heat and they came hard. I can't wait to buy at least a couple of these jerseys and rock the fuck out of them. A big W for Wisconsin and the dirty Mil.
